The Legend of Charcoal Children's Book

In the desolate whiteness above the arctic circle, a legend is born, Charcoal a black polar bear. Separated from his family during a fierce snowstorm, A friendly Inuit couple saves charcoal and becomes the pride of their little village of Kotzebue. Lonely for his animal family, Charcoal sadly leaves the comfort of civilization and ventures into the wild. Along the way, he meets Roger, an arctic hare, and joins Charcoal in his quest. Little do the two know that two French fur traders are stalking them and will eventually find an unlikely ally along the trail.
